Where it began...

I have always been an intense crafter. It is my release! I usually make things in quantity then give them to my friends as gifts.....hence, my shop name, Things For My Friends. Over the years, whenever I make something for a friend, they always tell me to sell my work.

My passion usually changes but some of the favorite things I have created have been...beaded bracelets, crocheted things (baby leg warmers, hats, scarves, blankets), handstamped and embossed cards, circle scarves....just to name a few. Then there was my wedding....it was a paper extravaganza! Kusadama paper flowers, and more paper flowers, invitations, gift boxes, programs.....those were some of my favorite times!

I love handlettering and calligraphy although I don't get to practice as much as I would like.
